For those of you who are new to Horizon or have not participated in the Turkey Trot* in the past, the Jingle Bell Run is a fun run that’s open to all Horizon students, staff and parents.

You can sign up for one of three courses:

• ½ Mile Course – Open to K-2nd graders
• 1 Mile Course – Open to 3rd-5th graders
• 2 Mile Challenger Course – Open to all students K-5th, as well as parents, siblings and staff at Horizon

To ensure our event is a success, we need your help! We are currently seeking sponsors for our big event. If you’re interested in sponsoring (which will get your logo on our event t-shirt, a listing on the PTA website and the opportunity to market to participants in our race bags), send an email to Laurie Bickart at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. We also need help with the event.

• Course Management – helping direct kids on the course, drape medals on the finishers, etc.
• Event Setup – Helping to set up the course and refreshments on the morning of the event.
• Refreshments - help purchase and get donations for refreshments after the race
• Support and Logistics – Help with copying, organizing registration info, etc.
